How to sell everything in your house with Claude ⚡

The weekend flow 🏠

1. 📸 Photograph everything you want gone. Good light, plain background, a few angles each. Then drag the photos into Claude.
2. 💰 Have Claude identify and price each item. It names what each thing is and gives a realistic resale range based on what similar ones actually sell for, so you're not guessing.
3. ✍️ Have Claude write the listings. A title that sells, a full description, and the price, for every item, in one go.
4. 🧩 Let Claude for Chrome fill it in. The browser extension opens Facebook Marketplace or eBay and drops your photos and text into the listing form for you (more on this below).
5. 💬 Have Claude draft your buyer replies. Ask it for quick responses to common questions plus a simple negotiation script, then you hit send.

The 3 prompts 📋

First, pricing. Upload your photos, then paste this:

I've uploaded photos of things I want to sell secondhand. For each item:
1. Tell me what it is (brand and model if you can see it).
2. Give me a realistic resale price range for good used condition, based on what comparable ones actually sell for, and note anything that would push the price up or down.
3. Flag anything that's worth more than I'd probably guess, or not worth the effort to list.

Put it in a simple table: item, condition, low price, fair price, worth listing (yes/no). I'm selling locally in [your city/country].

Then the listings. One message, every item done:

Write me a ready-to-post listing for each item above, for [Facebook Marketplace / eBay]. For each one give me:
- A short title that grabs attention and includes what buyers search for.
- A description of 3-5 lines: what it is, condition, why it's great, and any flaws (be honest, it builds trust).
- The asking price from the "fair price" column, with a little room to negotiate.
- 3 relevant tags or keywords.

Keep the tone friendly and normal, not salesy. Give them to me as separate blocks I can copy one at a time.

Then your replies, so buyer messages don't eat your evening:

Here's a listing and the price I want to hold: [paste listing + your floor price].

Draft me:
1. Friendly replies to the 5 most common buyer questions (is it available, will you deliver, what's your lowest, can you hold it, why are you selling).
2. A short negotiation script: how to respond to a lowball, how to counter, and the exact line to close the sale politely.
3. A pickup message with a safe, public meeting spot.

Keep every reply short and human, the kind of thing I'd actually text.

Let Claude fill the listings, you hit publish 🧩

The real time-saver is Claude for Chrome, a browser extension (in beta on paid Claude plans) that can navigate, click, and fill in forms on the sites you're already looking at. It opens Marketplace or eBay, starts a new listing, and drops your title, description, price, and photos into the fields for you.

Here's the honest bit, and it's the good news: it is not a fully hands-off robot, and you wouldn't want it to be. In Manual mode it pauses and asks for approval before each action, and it always checks with you before anything sensitive. It can't create accounts or make purchases on its own, and it won't push a listing live without you. So the flow is: Claude lines the whole listing up, you glance at it, you click publish.
