Master this high-ROI AI workflow: Here's the full setup . The unused stuff in your house is probably worth a few hundred dollars, and the part that usually stops you isn't the selling, it's the pricing and writing the listings. So hand that part to Claude. One honest thing up front: Claude can line the whole listing up for you, but it pauses and asks before it publishes, so nothing goes live without your yes. That's a feature, not a limitation.
A prompt is only as strong as its context architecture. Always define: 1) Persona & Authority, 2) Precise Business Objective, 3) Constraints (what NOT to do), and 4) Structured Output Schema (tables, JSON, or step-by-step frameworks). Save your highest-performing prompt chains as reusable team SOPs.
The weekend flow 🏠
- 📸 Photograph everything you want gone. Good light, plain background, a few angles each. Then drag the photos into Claude.
- 💰 Have Claude identify and price each item. It names what each thing is and gives a realistic resale range based on what similar ones actually sell for, so you're not guessing.
- ✍️ Have Claude write the listings. A title that sells, a full description, and the price, for every item, in one go.
- 🧩 Let Claude for Chrome fill it in. The browser extension opens Facebook Marketplace or eBay and drops your photos and text into the listing form for you (more on this below).
- 💬 Have Claude draft your buyer replies. Ask it for quick responses to common questions plus a simple negotiation script, then you hit send.
The 3 prompts 📋
First, pricing. Upload your photos, then paste this:
Then the listings. One message, every item done:
Then your replies, so buyer messages don't eat your evening:
Let Claude fill the listings, you hit publish 🧩
The real time-saver is Claude for Chrome, a browser extension (in beta on paid Claude plans) that can navigate, click, and fill in forms on the sites you're already looking at. It opens Marketplace or eBay, starts a new listing, and drops your title, description, price, and photos into the fields for you.
Here's the honest bit, and it's the good news: it is not a fully hands-off robot, and you wouldn't want it to be. In Manual mode it pauses and asks for approval before each action, and it always checks with you before anything sensitive. It can't create accounts or make purchases on its own, and it won't push a listing live without you. So the flow is: Claude lines the whole listing up, you glance at it, you click publish. You do the approving, Claude does the busywork. Full detail is in the Claude in Chrome permissions guide.
