I Built an AI Co-Founder for My Business 🛠️
An AI co-founder that knows my business deeply, remembers every decision I’ve ever made, pushes back when I’m wrong, and runs the rest of my AI agent team. If.
Why I Built This
Most founders using AI right now are using it like a chatbot. You open ChatGPT, ask a question, get an answer, close the tab. Next week you ask the same question and get a slightly different answer. No memory of what you decided last time. Generic advice. The same context explained ten times over.
That’s not a co-founder. That’s a search engine.
So I built the system I wanted. An AI co-founder that knows my business deeply. Knows my goals, my margins, my team, my non-negotiables, every lesson I’ve learned the hard way. Pushes back when I’m chasing the wrong thing. Synthesizes the reports from my other AI agents (Meta, Google, email, creative) into one brief I actually read. Three months in, she remembers more about my businesses than I do.
What This Took to Build
It took me weeks of building
and thousands of dollars in API tokens
to make this happen.
Not a template. Not a prompt wrapper. The actual production agent I run every single day. Built so any founder can drop it onto their business and stop using AI like a glorified Google search.
What the Agent Actually Does
Deep context on your goals, working style, strengths, weaknesses, and non-negotiables. The stuff a real co-founder picks up over years. Loaded every session. The agent doesn’t give you generic advice because it’s not talking to a generic founder. It’s talking to you.
Margins, team structure, current quarterly focus, what you’re trying to build, what’s already failed. Every important number, every important rule. Saved in real files the agent reads every session. Three months in, your co-founder knows the business better than your most senior employee.
The hardest behavior to engineer. AI is agreeable by default. You pitch a plan, it finds the good parts. This agent is built the opposite way. Find the weakness. Flag the contradiction. Call out the shiny object. If a decision conflicts with something you said three months ago, she names it. That’s the actual job of a co-founder.
Every decision, every outcome, every lesson, saved automatically. Three months in, the agent remembers more about your businesses than you do. Six months in, she’s catching connections you’ve forgotten you made. This is the part that turns a chatbot into a real partner. The compounding.
If you install other agents (Meta media buyer, email, Google, creative director), this is the one that ties them together. Reads every other agent’s reports. Synthesizes the signal. Hands you one daily brief instead of twelve. The strategic operating layer over the whole AI team.
Most AI gives you options. “Here are some things you could consider.” A real co-founder gives you a recommendation. This agent leads with the call, gives you the reasoning, and waits for the green light before acting. Then it acts. No hedging, no fluff, no “hope that helps.”
The real unlock of AI agents is not full autonomy, but human-in-the-loop systems design. Structure your agent inputs with explicit constraints, negative prompts, and automated test checkpoints. When building tools, keep token consumption lean by caching system prompts and isolating tasks into specialized sub-agents.
